Accessibility
What we do, where we know we fall short, and how to tell us about a problem.
Last updated: 2026.
What we aim for
We build this site towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. That is a target we work at rather than a certification we claim.
What the site does
- Every page is delivered as real HTML, so it works without JavaScript and with a screen reader.
- Text and interface colours are checked against WCAG contrast ratios, and the palette carries separate tokens for light and dark surfaces precisely so a colour is never used where it would fail.
- Everything interactive is a real link or button, reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
- A skip link at the top of every page goes straight to the content.
- Semantic landmarks and one
h1per page, with headings in order. - FAQ answers stay in the document and are toggled with the
hiddenattribute, so assistive technology and non-JS readers get the full text. - Motion is CSS-based and respects
prefers-reduced-motion. - Images carry alt text, and decorative images carry empty alt.
Where we know we fall short
Some third-party content we link to — a resident portal, a mapping service — is outside our control and we cannot guarantee its accessibility. Where a third-party tool blocks you from doing something, tell us and we will do it with you directly.
Tell us
If any part of this site is difficult to use, we want to know, and we will fix it and help you with whatever you were trying to do in the meantime. Email livoproperties@gmail.com or call 774-222-0952.
